Eduardo Aladrén comes from Zaragoza in Spain. He studied at the Conservatory of his hometown, at the Madrid Conservatory of Music and at the School of Music Bloomington (Indiana University, USA). His repertoire includes the central tenor roles in Werther, Rigoletto, Tosca, Adriana Lecouvreur, Andrea Chénier, Madama Butterfly, Il tabarro, Carmen, La traviata, La forza del destino, Aida, Eugen Onegin and Don Carlo, as well as leading roles in Die Fledermaus, Die lustige Witwe and Der Graf von Luxemburg. Engagements have taken him to the Deutsche Oper am Rhein, to the Oper Halle, to the Staatstheater Braunschweig, to Aachen, Bremen, Heidelberg; in Spain he appears in the Teatro Zarzuela Madrid, in Bilbao and in the Teatro Palma Mallorca; he gives guest performances in Russia, Japan, Italy, Holland, Belgium, Hungary, Mexico, Canada and the USA. He has also given solo concerts with orchestras such as the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra, the South Denmark Philharmonic, the Spanish Radio & TV Orchestra, the Staatskapelle Weimar and the Chicago Philharmonic. At the Deutsche Oper am Rhein he can currently be heard in Madama Butterfly and Don Carlo.
