The soprano Camilla Ostermann comes from Berlin. She is a master student at the Musikhochschule Lübeck with Birgit Calm. In performances at the Hochschule she appears as Maria de Bassani in Gefährliche Liebschaften (director: Claudia Gotta), as Adele in Die Fledermaus (director: Stefanie Koch), as Thierette in Die Abenteuer des Königs Pausole (director: Michael Wallner), as Gretchen in Der Wildschütz (director: Stefanie Koch) and at the Theater Lübeck as Rosalia in West Side Story (director: Wolf Widder). She attends master classes with Grace Bumbry, Margreet Honig, Simone Kermes and Doreen DeFeis/James Hooper and song classes with Thomas Seyboldt and Karola Theill. Since January 2019 she is a scholarship holder of the association Live Music Now Lübeck.
Colourful entertainment, great emotions - this is the enormous emotional range promised by director Tobias Materna for the production of the musical "A Cage Full of Fools" at the Eutin Festival.
The Korean baritone Hyunkyum Kim won the Eutin Festival prize of honour. Hilary Griffiths, Artistic Director Classical Music at the Festival, congratulated the 28-year-old singer on this success in the finale of the Maritim Music Prize.
