Eutin Choir starts with rehearsals - male voices wanted
This time the preparations for the new season of the festival began with an early start for the Eutin Choir.
Already in the second week of January the singers from Eutin and the surrounding area started rehearsing in the opera barn. Their weekly practice evenings will feature extremely demanding roles from Verdi's opera "Ein Maskenball" and for the gala evening.
At the first meeting, choir director Romely Pfund emphasised that there was still a need for more choir members to perform the wonderful pieces: "The male voices are right at the top of the list of priorities". If you are interested in participating in the 69th season's performances in the choir, please contact Anna-Luise Hoffmann at the Festival's Artistic Office (KBB), by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or by telephone on 04521/80010.
The frame was perfect at the premiere. Not only the oversized golden scenery frame on Eutin's green hill stands for it. Even if, no: just because the shreds flew here in the evening idyll, there was a lot of applause in the happy end for Hardy Rudolz's production of Cole Porter's "Kiss Me, Kate".
